My First Mods

Okay, I maybe a little late on this whole import car thing. So, what! It makes me happy to modify my car with the times. It's kind of like upgrading your computer from windows 98 to XP or from XP to Vista. Your computer or your car says things about you and I want my car to say luxury, power, current, and clean.

Before I move on I would like to warn you that this blog is very dorky. So stop here if you don't appreciate the little things like new wipers or new taillights. I have a 05 majestic blue Altima 3.5S. My dad gave it to me when I moved to Las Vegas. I know it is his baby so intern it is also my baby (ewww that actually sounded totally wrong but you know what I mean). I mean I started a blog about the stupid thing.

Like most import tuners I started out with a cold air intake. I bought the AEM Cold Air Intake from eBay. I would not recommend buying car parts off eBay but your experience maybe different. This install was more fun then difficult. It took so long to get shipped to me I did it in the parking lot of my apartment complex. I started around 5:30 p.m. and the sun was slowly dropping below the horizon. The installation required that I take the stock air box out with all the rest of the stock intake stuff. The new intake now sits comfortably in the same spot as the old one. At low RPMs you can barely hear it and between 3-6k RPMs I noticed a new distinct growl.

Item: AEM Cold Air Intake
Price: $246.99 w. shipping
Purchased From: eBay,
Seller: jksmotorsports, "Jessica you suck so bad"
Install Time: 1.5 hrs.
