To Pull or Not to Pull

After hours of ignoring my girl friend (Sorry babe) and researching forums, I found that I really wanted a under drive pulley. What is an under drive pulley? Do you really need one? These are questions that you'll run into if you are not a right fit for this blog.

An under drive pulley is a round cylinder that spins your alternator belt as well as your power steering belt. The stock pulley weighs a ton and your car uses a lot of resources to spin the thing. Anyhow, I bought the Unorthodox Under Drive Pulley from Stillen. I was debating if this was going to ruin my car slowly because the stock parts are balanced specifically for your car. Luckily, I found out that the engine is internally balanced and that a new pulley would actually free up the car's resources.

According to the forms that I research, a lot of people that have installed the pulley have had problems. My friend Ron also mentioned that I should be careful with the timing of the belt (whatever that means). So, I had it done professionaly and I feel the money spent will be worth the trouble.
